copy the deb in /tmp and run dpkg -i CallMe.deb from terminal

Hi, I really love Callme but I cannot use it anymore since I updated the iphone 3g to version 3.0.1!
After the updating I jailled it again installed Cydia and many applications, which now normally run. I have problems only with callme. I install the app., I see the icon, but when I try to open it, after two seconds with ‘loading contacts’ it crashes (cioè, si chiude da sola!!). I tried so many times, remove the app. and install it again, etc etc. Nothing works! I want callme again on my iphone!
Is anyone there who can help me? I’d really appreciate it!

i have not 3.01 so i dont know if its an issue tie to fw release, but should strange; are you sure that contacts are exactely the same used with previous firmware when CallMe was ok ?? i know there is a bug if you have one contact without one of this field filled : lastname, firstname or company… for example a contact with only telephone number and mail will crash CallMe…

Yes, it depends on the contacts list.
I cheched my list and notice I had 2 contacts without name nor lastname, only email address… (strange, anyway, I think it happened with the last connection and ITunes sicronizing). So I deleted them, restart the appl. and… evviva!!
CallMe is still the best appl. in its category, congratulations!
(by the way: to make a little donation shall I consider the top of this page?)

well im happy, i will patch the app to manage contacts like that; if you like to do a little donation that buttos are ok and …. should be the first people to do -)

I have installed the callme app on iphone 3g 3.0
How can i delete the quick call buttons i have created? When i open the program there is no option to delete them.

I have installed CallMe and created a few contact icons. I now want to delete these. I have deleted them within CallMe but cannot remove the icons from my SB. How can this be done please?

hi,
which version are you using of CallMe ?? if you remove contact from application the icons are automatically removed; if you have removed the application you must reinstall and remove from there, or remove manually with ssh: go into /Applications and remove the folders Dial0.app, Dial1.app etc (one folder for ant contact)

hi, the last version on cydia is 1.0; anyway only for permission problem the icon cannot be delete by callme.
with 0.8 you touch the red (-) and the confirm delete ?? if you close callme and reopen, you found yet the contact with the red minus ? is not easy to explain how is and use ssh… havent you any tool (on iphone or desktop) to access the iphone’s file system ?? i havent use it, but i suppose you can use cydelete, an utility to delete cydia application

I’m using FW 3.1.2 and I installed callme app, I could remove the contact from the list of callme however the icon that I also want to remove still there my version of callme is 0.7 pls help

are you sure u are using 0.7 ?? the current callme version on cydia should be 1.0… to remove contact from list try to slide from left to right on contact you want remove…

I tried and I could only delete the contact but the icon is still there
I would also like to delete the icon too and my version is 0.8but when I click on about button it say 0.7

I installed the version in cydia and after installing in the program it says it’s v.08. I downloaded the version on here and did a manual install (through SSH) and cydia is saying upgrade. Can someone please tell me the most current version and where to get it? Thank you
