Perseids 2002
This is my first massive activity in meteor scatter and i am quite satisfied. Thanks to Joe K1JT i have made few interesting qso also with my only 70W and 1x17 el., of course in FSK441.
I had two skeds in ssb with PE1GUR Ray and Z32UC Dime with no refl., no one ping hi, sorry guys. I try for about 2 hours to monitor on 144.188 for random operation of LA0BY/P but only one long and strong burst: pity that in that moment was qrv also the big gun Franco I2FAK and of course your answer kill my poor signal (a bit more power hi) Anyway the evening of the 13h i work him in random FSK441 for my new DXCC.
I have not do many qso during the peak but too many local station on 144.370, and almost always in first period beaming north, so no possibility to hearh the N/W station like RA,ES1RF/3 and other of my interest. Hrd many station from DL/PA/SM but many of it already worked in previous days :) Fortunately. thanks to the chat page on ON4KST The 50 MHz, 144 MHz and microwave european chats (by ON4KST) , i have worked many new square in sked.
I hope that before the great shower of Leonyds we create a new rules, seen the great number of people attracted in ms activity by FSK441: like a qrg for the station looking north and another for who looking east. For exemple i was interest to contact ES1RF/3 that, calling to west, had always use first period; i have in the rare moment of clear frequency, got many burst from him, but the qso has been impossible because after few moment some I2 station start to call beam north in the same first period with a signal of 9+40.
Anyway these are the results : 6 new DXCC (9H, ES, CT, LZ, LA, YL), 27 new square and 2 new province for WAIP (LE, CS).
Thanks to all for many hours of fun activity. Follow the list of confirmed qso's:
